The Missy Borgman Scholarship
The Grove City Chamber Singers have established the Missy Borgman Scholarship, in memory of a long- time member who passed away in 2018, due to cancer. A $500 scholarship will be awarded each spring to one student from Reynoldsburg High School, where director Kristi Reed teaches vocal music, and one student from either Grove City or Central Crossing High School, in the South-Western City School district, where group founder Ellen Tate taught vocal music before her retirement. This year, the 2026 recipients are Yuna Som from Reynoldsburg HS, and Bella Boland from Grove City HS. Yuna will be attending the University of Cincinnati majoring in biology, while Bella will be attending Ohio State University. Congratulations to both and always keep singing!
